1967/68 Western Field Model M855A (Mossberg 351CA) .22 LR

Grandpa Joe's and gifted to me for Christmas 2016 by Uncle Mike.
My own research
Mossberg Model 351CA made for Montgomery Ward stores. Western Field is the Montgomery Ward brand name. Model 351CA was made between 1967 and 1968. Also, it does not have a serial number and Mossberg did not include serials on rifles between 1930 and 1968.

Mike -many of the rifles made for Wards by Mossberg were hybrids - an action and bolt from one model, but with stock, sights and cosmetic features from another
...
I'm going with 351CA - appears to be a carbine length with front barrel band, and that longer trigger guard makes it a 351 series.
