M1873 (Colt Single Action Army/Peacemaker)
Original M1873/Colt Peacemaker/Single Action Army/SAA commonly was 7.5" barrel (which was the standard length for the U.S. Army Cavalry), but 4.75" was common for civilians, blued barrel/cylinder/grip frame, and a color case-hardened frame and hammer. While bluing was standard, nickel plating was a very popular alternative option, especially for civilians. Cimarron offers "Original"/"Antique" finish for old, worn look. .45LC was original, but .44 Spl is similar. .357mag/38spl is modern and practical. |

M9 (Beretta 92FS)
https://en.namu.wiki/w/%EB%B2%A0%EB%A0%88%ED%83%80%20M9
Beretta developed the 92FS as a bid for the US military. It was slightly modified from the preexisting civilian 92 model. It won and was given the military designation of "M9" in the 1980s. Beretta also released the 92FS as its new primary civilian model. However, the 92FS model has evolved over the years. The M9 model has not changed and most closely resembles the pistols originally issued to US military in the 1980s. |

M17 (Sig Sauer P320)
"In 2018, SIG Sauer released a civilian-market variant of the handgun, the P320-M17. The firearm is nearly identical, albeit lacking the tamper-resistant takedown screws, and available with or without an external manual safety. The P320-M17 stainless steel slide is PVD-coated, and the control elements feature a black finish, as found on later military M17 service pistol batches." |
